Coconut Margarita

I’ve been in love with coconut lately after making my Pina Colada recipe. When I heard about a coconut margarita from @Join_jules, I had to try it. If you love tequila, and coconut then you’re going to love this cocktail.

I decided to use both coconut milk and coconut cream. Coconut cream is creamier and sweeter. If you don’t like your cocktail on the sweeter side, you can opt out of using the coconut cream.

I’m a sucker for a good garnish, I think it makes the experience of having a drink that much better and makes me so fancy. I used coconut flakes on the rim for a little razzle dazzle.

What you’ll need

  • 2 oz of tequila
  • 1 oz coconut milk
  • 2 tbsp of coconut cream
  • 3/4 oz lime juice
  • 3/4 oz cointreau

Garnish

  • 2 Tbsp of Honey
  • Coconut Flakes
  • Lime Wheel
  1. Add ingredients into a cocktail shaker and shake to combine.
  2. Strain into a glass
  3. Rim glass with honey and coconut flakes
  4. garnish with a lime wheel & enjoy

xoxo, Cheers!
