In a saucepan, combine brown sugar, water, pumpkin puree, cinnamon, pumpkin spice, salt and a splash of vanilla.
Stir the mixture until well combined. Bring it to a boil over medium heat, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 5 minutes, or until the syrup has thickened slightly.
Cool and Store: Remove from heat and let it cool. Transfer to a clean jar or bottle and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
