Tis the season! Fall is here! Apple season is here. Oh and it’s National Vodka Day. What better way to transition from summer to fall than with a cocktail in hand. Fall cocktail that is. This Apple Cider Moscow Mule is giving fall realness. It’s so delicious and refreshing. Made with spiced apple cider, ginger beer, maple syrup, fresh lime juice and vodka. This is a cozy take on the classic Moscow mule with a fall twist.
Moscow mules are one of my favorite cocktails. From the pretty rose gold mug to the refreshing ginger beer. Goes down smoothly without being overwhelmed by the taste of vodka. If you’re new to drinking, try a Moscow mule. They don’t disappoint.
I wanted to make a few cocktails with the left over Cider I made. I figured the apple cider + ginger beer would compliment each other very well. And DID! This was a great combination. And screamed fall with hints of maple and cinnamon apple making this the perfect fall cocktail.
This cocktail is going to be perfect for the holidays. So if it’s a little too early for cider and you’re still on a tropical kick save this one for later.
Y’all know I love to make a good drink. And now that the seasons are changing, it’s time to experiment with some seasonal flavors. The at home libations don’t stop because summer did.
Like mojitos, this Moscow mule is super easy to make. Made in one glass, so limited equipment is needed making this a low effort cocktail.
What’s up with the mug?!
Moscow Mules are known for their gorgeous copper mug. Aside from its eye catching color, they are served in a copper cup to keep the cocktail cool. Known to be served in the summer, you can enjoy your cocktail without worrying about it melting and getting watered down.
It is also said that the copper cup enhances the taste and experience of the cocktail. It enhances the aroma and taste of the cocktail.
Sold?! Here’s where I got my beautiful set.
Make it a mocktail–
if you don’t drink no problem. feel free to skip on the vodka and make this a mocktail. still delicious and refreshing.
