Here’s what you’ll need to bring this latte together:
- Espresso: choose your favorite espresso or instant espresso. You can also use cold brew.
- Milk: milk of choice. I used oat milk but feel free to use your favorite.
- Butter Pecan Syrup: rich, nutty, caramel-like syrup (get the recipe here)
- Brown Butter Cold Foam: this complimented the entire drink so well.

Butter Pecan Iced Latte
Ingredients
- 1 tsp Instant espresso or 2 shots of espresso
- 2 oz hot water
- 1/3 cup milk
- ice
- 2 tbsp butter pecan syrup sweeten to your liking
Toppings
- brown butter cold foam
- cinnamon
- candied pecans
Instructions
- Add butter pecan syrup to the bottom of a glass.
- Add in ice, milk, more syrup if desired. Carefully pour in the freshly brewed espresso. Top with brown butter cold foam and candied pecans and enjoy!
Notes

- Toast pecans in a saucepan until fragrant.
- Add water, sugars, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Simmer 8–10 minutes until syrupy.
- Stir in butter extract and vanilla bean paste.
- Strain, reserving candied pecans for topping. Store syrup in a sealed jar in the fridge.
