The perfect complement to your morning coffee or fall desserts, this pumpkin pie syrup is a simple syrup infused with rich pumpkin flavor and warm autumn spices.

Ingredients for Pumpkin Pie Syrup?

  • Pumpkin puree: I love using Libby’s Pumpkin Puree for all my pumpkin recipes.
  • water
  • brown sugar: light brown sugar.
  • cinnamon
  • pumpkin spice: This is the pumpkin spice I love to use.
  • vanilla

What to put pumpkin spice syrup on?

  • coffee
  • ice cream
  • apples
  • serve it in over night oats for the ultimate fall breakfast

Pumpkin Spice Syrup

Ingredients
  

  • 1/3 cup pumpkin puree
  • 3/4 cups of brown sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract or vanilla bean paste optional
  • 1 tsp pumpkin spice seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions
 

  • In a saucepan, combine brown sugar, water, pumpkin puree, cinnamon, pumpkin spice, salt and a splash of vanilla.
  • Stir the mixture until well combined. Bring it to a boil over medium heat, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 5 minutes, or until the syrup has thickened slightly.
  • Cool and Store: Remove from heat and let it cool. Transfer to a clean jar or bottle and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
