It’s no secret that I absolutely love breakfast! And I’m always looking for ways to switch things up. This sandwich is my tried and true, for a quick and easy breakfast.
Living in New York was a wild ride, especially when I first moved there. Money was tight, and I was crashing at my friends’ places, so BEC became a go-to breakfast. It’s quick, tasty, and budget-friendly – the perfect solution!
Can I get a “Bacon Egg and Cheese on a roll. Ketchup & Hot sauce.” This is what I used to order when I lived in Brooklyn. And because I miss it so much, you already know… I had to make it at home.
A bacon egg and cheese is a MUST when you visit/live in NYC. It’s such an easy, and convenient thing to eat on the way to work. It’s so good. Basic. But good. Oh and cheap. And we love that. From the soft roll, to the crispy bacon. Soft eggs to the melty cheese. DE-licious!
Made on my homemade brioche roll. This is the ultimate sandwich. I mean it gets no better than a breakfast sandwich on homemade bread. If you’re looking for something new & EASY to make for breakfast try this sandwich.
Bacon Egg and Cheese Ingredients
Roll- I used my homemade brioche roll, but feel free to use any type of roll, croissant or bagel.
Eggs- 2-3 eggs scrambled.
